Remember summer?

I was thinking about how most of us are in the middle of winter.  Remember summer?  That warm, flower scented time?  Here is a little video clip I made last summer.  I thought this might be a nice time to share it, to remind you of what will be coming in a few months.  Warmth, flowers, birds.  Hope you can hear the Swainson's Thrushes singing in the dusk, one of my most favorite summer sounds.  Also starring Charlie, the tuxedo cat.  Enjoy!

Look at your lovely yard! So green and pretty! (Yeah. I know. Last summer. Still!) Thanks for sharing a summer glimpse. And yup! I heard the birds. God how I love to hear the birds sing. Something I have been missing lately. What a treat this was.

I got lost in the clip enjoying the sights and sounds and hated to come back. Your yard is wonderful. Thanks for the break from winter.

How lovely and green your yard is! Your pets seem to enjoy it too. I love that bird song...I don't think we get any kind of thrush birds here in Kansas...but I have hear their song on recordings and perhaps on vacations but I don't remember where. I love that song...sooooo peaceful. You must be quite the green thumb too!

That was just lovely, your thrush sound so different to ours. A wonderful change from the cold or rain we've been having ;)

Beautiful! I feel like going outside and starting a garden right now. I will have to wait a few weeks. :) We've had a pretty mild winter, so I can't really complain (but I still do - haha!) xox
