Jan and Rocky hit the beach

Yes, we went to the beach.  The weather was a bit foggy, as you can see in the above photo.  I was practically in the water before I could actually see the ocean.  This photo was taken on my second day.  The first day was hot, the second day was cold and foggy, and the third day was just right.
Rocky, smile for the camera!  He's feeling a bit shy, it seems.

I stopped at a little goat dairy and bought some cheese.  The man took me back to view his French Alpine goats.  Pretty ladies.

Then he took me to the separate pen to visit the buck.  I didn't get too close to the buck but I think I can still smell him.  He only had eyes for his ladies, but I didn't mind. The goat, not the man.

Jackie over at http://dogdaisychains.blogspot.com/ recently did a post about her trip to the Outer Hebrides and she included a photo of a rusty building, said her husband really likes old rusty buildings.  So this photo is for her and him.  It is pretty decrepit and rusty.

I had brought some beads to work on but I didn't even take them out of the bag.  I just read and walked and hung out with the Rock.  Very relaxing and pleasant.  Now I'm back home, I'm going to get those beads out.  I'm intending to have a giveaway in honor of my 100th post coming up so watch this space.

Be well.

Ah, typical beach weather. Rocky and you took a great picture, and I love the old building. I will be at the beach this coming week and hope the weather will be cooperative. Any is good as long as it is not raining.

Hi Jan! I love the pic of you and Rocky. Look at that blue sky! Yay! We've had several days of perfect weather, and it has been lovely. I should take some pictures of the barns and abandoned houses in our area - some of them are downright spooky. :) Have a great week - xo Pam

Oh, Jan, a trip to the beach sounds great no matter what the weather. I am in need of that calming effect the ocean seems to have on me. I hope to get down to Casey's before the end of the year and I'll do some beach walking then.
Great picture of you and the Rock!
Eager to see what your next bead project will be.

Nice photo from you and Rockey, very good shot with Rockey's profil. Your friend Jackie has a very nice blog, had to become follower at once.
At our place the same: one day hot, next day very cold.
Have a nice day!!

I think the fog looks like a perfect time to walk....but then I am always in a blur! LOL!!!
Rocky was obviously busy checking out *something*---not now mom, there's things to chase!
Sounds like a good time all around!

Looks a lovely place. Glad you had a relaxing time. The smell of goat lingers for a long time.

Hi'ya Jan,

Sounds like such a peaceful and calming time you and Rocky had together. I find going to the seaside is so rejuvenating. My oldest son and I will be going to Savannah for three days
this week, he came down to work for part of the week and see us the latter part.
Saying prayers that the Hurricanes will keep their distance. Sounds like Earl might touch down north of us in the Carolinas at this point!

Be well my friend and happy beading!! I already know it will be wonderful!!

Hugs,

Susan
