I finished this needle felted, beaded Gecko last year, and it has been hanging on my design wall ever since. I always thought it would look good on a jean jacket so finally I trimmed it up and stitched it on one, using a blanket stitch.
I like it there, hanging over my shoulder.
It's been raining and windy for the past couple of days. What happened to spring? I remember almost bragging about our early flowers back in March but it has been raining nearly every day for the past two months. It's only about 50 degrees today, I'm waiting for a break so I can go for my walk.
Still listening to Greg Brown, sent out 5 copies of that last show so far.
Be well.

It looks so fantastic where you have placed it on your jacket. I love the idea of having a gecko hanging over the shoulder, they are so cute.
Your gecko looks so cute on your shoulder! It certainly will draw lots of attention for sure. Funny how some of our 'past work' just seems to find new homes!
Wow, Jan, that looks fantastic!!
What a beautiful gecko.
It goes so well with the trim on that jacket too!
YAY!!!
Love and hugs, happy monday!
Wow, how wonderful. Very, very creative as far as I am concerned. I would love to try that beading. I always want to jump in and try something new. Just might do that.

I love it Jan, it looks terrific on your jacket. We have had hail on and off all day today, we are in the foothills of Mt. Hood and it is snowing up there. Spring just may not make an appearance this year.

Hi Jan!! LOVE IT!!!! Lizards are one of my favorite things. I've taken many photos of lizards and I've done drawings of them. How exciting to see this Gecko lounging over your shoulder!! You will get many, many comments when you wear this jacket. It looks great!! I love your creative mind.

That is so cool----the felting is perfect---I think you would be as happy doing it by hand as with this machine I have.
It looks great on your jacket!!!
Sorry I'm trolling in so late; no power, no internet, one heck of an evening and morning.....oy!
