That is a great photo of the green caterpillar. He looks like he has sugar sprinkles on him in the front. How beautiful and intricate nature is. ♥ audrey
Is your big green caterpillar by chance eating dill? I used to have some quite similar that would eat all the dill and fennel I could plant. Can't remember what butterfly they turned into; tiger swallowtails? Have a good weekend!
Nice pix, as usual! I remember one year, we were infested. Could barely see the blacktop on the street out front. Seems to me that was more like Spring than Autumn. Is it normal this time of year?
LOVE your bowl full of caterpillars! Although it's a pretty skimpy bowl of 'em! Nothing like your bucket o' slugs!!! Got in a walk this afternoon before WW, and it was a trick to try not to step on any. They were EVERYWHERE! Crazy! That other black, yellow & lime green caterpillar is so cool! GOD is amazing to have created such beauty...and in a caterpillar! WOW!

The furry ones look like little pipe cleaners and the markings on the other are just stunning.

Cool pics! You're supposed to be able to look at the wooly bear's stripes and tell what kind of winter we're going to have. I can't remember how...;)
I have not seen my fuzzy friends this Fall yet... they always fascinate me and my grandchildren. Peace, Mary Helen
