This post is showing some of the quilts I have made over the last couple of years.
Above is the latest quilt top, it isn't finished yet.  Not sure who will get this one.
This is the Asian theme quilt I made for my niece.  Still waiting for her address so I can send it to her.
This is the one I showed in my last post.  After looking at it on my wall for awhile I find it too chaotic and crazy, not sure I even like it.  I might have to tear it apart.  I like individual blocks, but not the whole thing.  What do you think of it, honestly?

This is one I gave to cousins Becky and Terry.  They wanted water colors, anything to do with the water.  I titled this one Ebb and Flow.
This is a flannel quilt I made from a purchased pattern.  It is still here, haven't decided who to gift it to.
This one I made for my friend Mary's daughter who was having a baby.

I believe this one went to cousins Marla and Fred.  They live in a log cabin so it seemed appropriate.
I have a lot of cousins!  This one went to Karen and Bernie who will soon be moving into the new house they built on the Oregon Coast.
A couple of reverse applique wall quilts.  Sold the above one to Uta in Australia.
 Still have this one.
Another cousin quilt, went to Eric and Anne.
The chickadee quilt went to my sister Debbie.
And this nine patch went to my SIL Beth.

Those are some of the quilts I have made since 2016.  I still have a huge stash of fabric.  I took 4 big boxes of fabric to the thrift store the other day.  Now I need to find some fabric for the new blue and red batik quilt top.  Oh, I got the pattern from this book:
It has a lot of fun and easy patterns.
Maybe next I will post some of my fiber and mixed media art from the past couple of years.  Until then,
Be Well.

I like SO many of your quilts! The Ebb Quilt is a favorite as is Uta's quilt. The "chaotic and crazy" quilt isn't all that bad! You could cut into large squares, even different size blocks/shapes and add a dark sashing (e.g. black or white). That could make it really modern...Nice work!

Man, you have really been busy sewing!! I just love quilts. Robbie had a good idea for the Cray-Cray quilt. But honestly, it's a quilt and serves a purpose. If you don't like the front, use the back as the top! I absolutely love your HEADER.

It's so impressive to see these all in one post! Ebb and Flow is so peaceful and pretty. I actually like the funky pieced quilt, but Robbie's idea of sashing to tone it down is a good one. Also, I thought of placing a central medallion in it, using the crazy pieced blocks and piano key border to frame it. Then I scrolled down and saw your beautiful reverse applique pieces which was just what I was picturing! So a large heart (or other) block in the center as the focal point. The reverse applique looks like such fun and results are so effective. But all of your quilts are lovely. I like the traditional Log Cabin, too. Is it the Sunshine and Shadows setting, I think?

Wowza impressive creations. I love the Asian themed quilt. The one you find chaotic is so to me as well. What if it got a muslin or net topper over all the color to tone it down, is that even possible? It sure it a colorful riot but like those images that make your eyes go a bit loopy. Great fabrics in there though. xox

I love the variation of style that are your quilts. Each is a gem unto themselves. I love the happy play of colors of the one you questioned about, but I agree with the others that a sashing of smaller bits of it would be a good idea.
Love every one of your masterpieces. You been a very busy lady.

Jan, you are amazing in how you are so productive with all these quilts! Wonderful! Ebb and Flow is so striking! I really like that one. LOVE the heart quilt you made for Jamee Girl! The reverse appliques are so lovely, but the heart one is my absolute favorite! So neat! Your family will cherish all these quilts that you've gifted them with. I know I do the one you made me! You are not only talented but an especially giving person, too! As for the quilt that you think is chaotic and crazy, it doesn't ring my chimes, but different strokes for different folks. I bet there is someone out there who would LOVE IT, who might need a little ZING in their THING!!!
