Autumn Rhodedendron
Not sure why my rhodie is blooming now. I guess it is a little mixed up. Like me.
Jan, Your rhodie is so pretty with its beautiful blooms! I think the plants actually are mixed up. It was 78* the other day, snow flurries and freezing cold on Friday, and it was gorgeous t-shirt weather today. Not only does that mix up the plants, it gives us COLDS!!!! Mine is just about gone, thank goodness. I'm a happy gal because my blog is back. And I actually did receive an email from Blogger apologizing for the inconvenience. I hope that does NOT happen egain any time soon! I guess we all have to deal with the many moods of Blogger from time to time. PLEASE don't leave us. I would be SAD and would miss you SO much!!!!! Been with you since the beginning ~ you can't leave me now. (: I LOVE the batik quilt! ♥ audrey
Other folks plants are blooming at weird times too. Some of our Japanese maples haven't lost their leaves yet and all the other trees are bare. Strange weather doings. Love this color though. xox Corrine
I have a rhodie out back the same color as this one and it's not even budding. Strange since there isn't that many miles separating our yards. My lawn is greener now than it's been so far this year and seems to be thicker too.
Strange things are certainly happening right now.It looks so lovely. Perhaps it is just us who are taking longer to adapt to the changes in the seasons.
I've got one or 2 things in the garden hanging on, too. That's what we all do really, isn't it, hang on? Oh, & enjoy as much of it as we can while hanging on... x
Hoi Jan, thanks for visiting my blog....I'm a bit confused about all you beautiful blogs, what beautiful quilts you make! Really really in love with them. Which is your main blog?

Dear Jan, when taking a walk in October or was it already November I saw poppies flowering in the field, but more single. Sometimes nature is mixing up like we do ;-)) Love Anja

Its kind of scary, really. I still have roses blooming and one last geranium just won't give up!
Jan,
Or just beautiful in any season just like you! ;) Hugs!
Yeah, some of my plants were confused this year too, but the weeds were as healthy as ever.
They are a beautiful colour. I hope that we have not caused too much damage that nature cannot be true to it's seasons.
yes I have a rose that has been in bloom since May and its still flowering ...thats not right is it ??....its never done that before..x
Somehow Mother Nature is having menopause right now..who knows why! Happy Thanksgiving blessings to you and your family! Peace, Mary Helen
