Coming Soon!

Hello friends and neighbors!  I am blog friends with Linda over at Olde Baggs 'n Stuft Shirts and decided to play along with the blog event she has hosted for several years running, Celebrate OZ!!  This year the theme is the Hues of Oz and while I didn't intend to play, while I was working on another Dooleybobber, it turned into an Oz theme so I am playing after all.  Check back on Friday, March 21st to see what my contribution will be.  Also you can find all the players listed on Linda's side bar on her blog.  or you can click the badge on my side bar to find out more about it.  No, you don't need to click your heels, just the badge!

This post is kind of a test run since I have been having trouble with getting a post up on blogger.  So I will show you today (hopefully) the journal page I finished just an hour ago.
I Love Dogs

It's true.  I do. In case you didn't know that already.  This page lists all the dogs that have owned me, however briefly.  I am hoping there will soon be more.  In the meantime I am loving my Sadie and Windy.

Hope you will check back in this Friday and follow the various links to the other Oz players.  Linda always creates a wonderful post on her own.  Until then,
be well.

Jan,
I LOVE this journal page you made. It is WONDERFUL. The dogs are precious, the color is wonderful, and the tribute to all the sweet dogs you've loved is so sweet. It looks like you've got art journaling down pat.
Eager to see the dooleybobber you made for Celebrate Oz. I think it's great that you are participating.
I hope the girls in your art group are all feeling better by now.
Really great post, Jan!!!

Me too. I may like dogs better than people! The page is cool. I just love how you encorperated images of all your dogs. Dogs that owned me.....how appropriate.

Just popped in to say hello. Love your art work very beautiful. I so miss Jeannie when I see it all she really was so inspiring in my life. It has been a very busy time for me since Sept. With deciding to move and actually doing it. Sizing down and getting rid of truckloads. I must say it feels good. Slowly getting back to playing in my larger sewing room.

Your journal page is just wonderful. I am a dog lover too but all my cats insist it is a passing phase. (It isn't... I had dogs before cats.)
