Summer fun

That poem, written by my 12 year old nephew, Dawson, sums it all up.  "Out in the sun with all the people you love, That's all the fun you can get."

Here are 3 people I love, having some fun in the shade.  My two SIL's Beth and Robin and my step mom, Dottie.  I wasn't able to make it to Deb's party http://midlifepoet.blogspot.com/2010/07/cantina-fiesta.html
because I was at my family party.  No beer trucks but plenty of beer, great food and conversation.  Oh yeah, and the boozie smoothies didn't hurt either. Since I was the photographer there are no photos of me, but rest assured, I was having a wonderful time too!  Hope you all can say the same.
Be well.

Well, maybe you can come next time and then you can show us your gorgeous bodybuilder body! You can even stand on the table and do your poses. But you were at a very well-behaved party. I am sure it was good for the heart and soul!

Hi Jan,

I was not sure when you were getting back from your brothers. I have been holding off on something till I knew you were back home!!
Hope you enjoyed some good R&R!!

Boo Hoo...No ATC!! I was positive I was going to see your ATC in the mail today. We got back home just a little bit ago 6:00pm and I had nothing in my mail box! I was bummed out!!
I am hoping by Monday it will show up, as soon as it does I will e-mail you.
Sounds like you had the Best time and love the picture of your family. Oh yes and I could use a Boozie Smoothie myself!! Lol...

Have a Great rest of the weekend!!

Have to smile while looking at your post. So nice family likes to keep together and having a lot of fun. This is surely not the only poem of your nephew Dawson. How he also cares about what the parents feel, his expression is wonderful. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Hi Jan! Your party looks like a lot of fun, and everyone looks very happy to be there. I intend to have some more fun with my family before August zooms by. I will have to NOT do housework, or chores, but I am willing to sacrifice - lol!! You have a lovely Sunday my friend! xox

Jan, what a smart little guy ~ the last two lines are perfect and true!
Sorry you missed the pool party, but I think being at a "real" party with family was the better option. Building memories with family is so important and I'm sure you did have a fun time.
It rained all day yesterday and the temps cooled down. LOVE it!!
Happy Sunday, Jan.
